OptimoRoute's route optimization and real-time updates worked well for our dispatch flow. Dynamic reschedulng and driver assignment tools made it easier to reroute trucks when jobs changed, and drivers got clear ETAs and updated stops on the app. The mobile app for drivers is straightforward, with proof of delivery capture and check-in that improved visibility on deliveries. There is a learning curve for new dispatchers, and occasionally GPS mapping will place a stop slightly off which requires manual adjustment. Support is helpful most of the time, but response times can be slow during busy periods, and it has been a net positive for cutting drive time and missed deliveries.

Using Shipsy in my carrier operations has been frustating. The proof of delivery uploads fail or show incorrect timestamps, which caused drivers to wait at delivery points while I tried to reconcille records. Route assignments sometimes change mid-trip and the route execution feed does not refresh reliably, which cost us hours of dispatcher time and driver detention. Carrier connectivity is spotty and exception handling does not provide clear next steps, so I end up calling shippers and updating records manually. The dashboard looks nice but the basic execution features are unreliable, and these daily delays have added a lot of frustration.
