Swift Transportation trains new drivers at Swift Academy, where students can earn a Class A CDL in four weeks. Training is covered by Swift's financial agreement, which requires driving for Swift for 26 consecutive months after getting the license. Graduates move on to over-the-road training with the company. Swift also offers tuition reimbursement for drivers who earn their Class A CDL at a third-party school.
